In addition, the silicone material has been tested in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, the U.S. standard for rubber articles intended for repeated food contact. Results confirm that total extractable substances remain well within permissible limits, indicating the silicone is safe, stable, and suitable for repeated use with food. The product has also been verified to meet applicable CE conformity requirements, demonstrating compliance with relevant European safety directives.

These tests include screening for heavy metals, formaldehyde, pesticides, phthalates, allergenic and carcinogenic dyes, chlorinated phenols, and other chemical residues known to pose risks to infant health. The chemical limits applied under Product Class I are significantly stricter than those for adult textiles, ensuring the fabric is safe for prolonged and direct contact with delicate baby skin.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 testing aligns with major international chemical safety frameworks, including EU REACH regulations and substances of very high concern (SVHC) requirements.
